IDENT

I do intend to add some audio.

IDENT TEST

This is a shot, an idea for an ident I had the other day. It's probably because I recently got my hands on a load of After Effects plugins recently; but I thought of making an old 50s style crackly ident.

MORE VIOLENCE

These are some screenshots taken from a shot of the computer game the character is playing. I am quite pleased with the result. At first I had planned to have another shot of the game, so it was more clearly visible what was on the screen, but I think it looks ok like this.
It is supposed to be set from inside of the computer monitor, looking out through the glass, warping what you see; but I am not so sure it will be obvious enough.

UH?

This is another bit from the game one of my characters will be playing; it's meant to be a blatent rip off of Grand Theft Auto.

CHASE

It's a picture of an old woman on a mobility scooter being chased down by a man in a car

ULTRA-VIOLENCE

My initial idea for the game my character was playing was just to take screenshots of an old computer game I remember a relative playing; called Blood, which was quite a violent game, not very different from something like Doom. But after chatting to a mate at uni I've been trying something else - something a bit more violent and shocking - maybe a bit like the recent trend of games like Manhunt and Grand Theft Auto.
This was just an idea for part of that clip, a granny having her head taken off.

ANOTHER EXPERIMENT

I've been experimenting in After Effects with this project; using images and animation from Flash, but trying to get a bit of depth into it so it doesn't look so flat. It took me a while to figure it out, but this shot is an example of using 3D layers, and lights to cast shadows. I think it works ok, especially in cases where the object casting a shadow is animated - such as a walk cycle.

COMPUTER GAMES

I've done my best to try and make it look you can see Stephen from inside the computer screen while he is playing a game.

AND MORE SCREENSHOTS

I have intentionally left the background space blank when the shot is focused quite closely on one or two characters. It is the hope that this will prevent confusion, separating the characters from the background a little bit more.
